PHP E-mail Injection31 Jan 2006 23:14 GMT12
This is a tip for newbies and oldbies alike, IMO.
A LOT of the spam being sent these days is sent using zombie machines, and

Matt's Formmail as terribly insecure and assumed that PHP scripts were a
1&1 and form CGI31 Jan 2006 23:12 GMT7
I'm looking to put a basic form on a website I've got hosted with 1&1.
I can only find details from them for pre-made forms (using tinc) which

"Bobby Jones" are a link. Looks like it should in Firefox, but not IE or

Open Source31 Jan 2006 14:29 GMT7
Hmmm...  I know Open Source is all well and good but I often wonder
about the security of it all.  We made a business decision to write
everything for our CMS from the ground up rather than just trying to
charge consultancy for installing open source stuff.

The absurdity of (some) patents31 Jan 2006 03:42 GMT9
It appears that Cingular thinks they have a good idea - one that
"allows a user of a mobile phone to select a displayable icon, such as
an emoticon, that indicates the mood or emotion of the user..."

I want to make it smaller. I don't have any special video software,

just me, to begin with, but a quick check on some other sites that I
know use Adsense shows the same thing. Searching on Google itself
