can anyone tell me if this is legal php/mysql ?
i am trying to write a simple function to get a single stat from a

I know that the PHP "chmod" command sets file permissions, but how do I
retrieve what the permissions are for a particular file using PHP 4.3?

I posted the following issue a while ago...
I use mail() to send emails from my website.  It all worked well untill
I switched hosts. Now, when the recepient receieves the email, instead
of just the email address in the from bar, they get my host name

I am relatively new to PHP and just have a question regarding $_POST to

Im having major problems trying to connect to a mssql database thats
hosted on our server.
I've got the ip, username, password and database name, yet no matter
what i try, I cant seem to connect. I've trawled the net for hours

I am outputing a list of 10 values.
10, 20, 30, 40, etc
I can add 15 to one of the values then reorder the values from smallest
to highest but i want to update every single value and assign it values

i want to upload the video files to the server..
then i encode all the video files into flv files ...
and then i am go  to streaming ...
in the mean while i create the thumbnail image from video..
