You would think that Opera would be capable of popping panels when the  
mouse hovers over an area. . . e.g. Favorites, instead of having to click  
on the edge of the page to show the panel.

Lost the Feeds preview (not a bug)31 Oct 2008 16:38 GMT2
I accidentally pushed a button -- I don't know which one, it was a case of
"fat fingers" and "mashed a bunch of buttons at once" -- and now my Feeds
have gone from a split window (msg list on top, current msg displayed on
bottom) to no preview at all, which is driving me nuts. ...

Every time when I upgrade Opera on my Windows machine at work, the
installer gives me a window saying that upgrading is only valid if I
already have Windows installed.   I hit OK, and it finishes upgrading.
It's as though it doesn't find my earlier Opera, but when I run it, my

I lost my menu items. Window, File, etc.

At least the last two, and maybe the last three upgrades have required
resetting the location of the Status Bar Toolbar.  Either 9.60 or
9.61, installed from

User Javascript's ability to prevent content loading29 Oct 2008 15:08 GMT1
If using the DOMContentLoaded event with a user javascript to remove  
images from a page, does this prevent Opera from downloading those images?  
It certainly doesn't appear to if the load event is used, but is  
DOMContentLoaded also too late to intercept the requests? I've been  ...
