Touchpad scroll problem31 Aug 2008 20:52 GMT1
I'm not sure if this is the right group to post.
I've got a Windows XP laptop with a Synaptics touchpad. The drivers are
8.2.5.1. The scrolling does not work until I click somewhere in the
page. Then it works, but only until I switch to another tab or to
Tab locking30 Aug 2008 22:54 GMT1
I am looking for a way to open a player like liquidcompass in a tab and
keep it playing without being replaced with another page if focus
inadvertently falls on that tab as I click a bookmark.  I can lock the tab
which keeps it open but another page can replace the player.  I ...

Using Opera in OpenBSD30 Aug 2008 19:26 GMT2
I have been using Firefox in OpenBSD -current because right now, Opera
9.5 doesn't work right with Linux Emulation. The usual suspect is
something to do with either memory or threading. I really enjoy Opera
and wish to use it, but I cannot for the life of me find any good

Opera icon in notification tray30 Aug 2008 05:59 GMT24
Several days ago, since around the time I downloaded 9.52RC, Opera's
icon started showing up in XP's notification area upon opening (lower
right, along with a-v, firewall, etc.). My sense was it wasn't all
the time, but with 9.52 final  its.  Since it's never happened in any
Address bar in full screen F11 mode gone?29 Aug 2008 21:38 GMT5
All,
Something I really miss since version 9.5 is the address bar at the top of
the screen in full screen mode. I used to have it displayed via Ctrl-F8
but that doesn't do any longer. Searching help returned some hits which

What's the difference between "Block unwanted pop-ups" and "Block pop-ups"?
