Since Comcast ng server is gone, I can't figure out how to get rid of
the folder newsgroups.comcast.net.  Anyone know how to do this?

Firefox appears to be incapable of revealing the shading behind text -
which appears when text+shading pages are viewed in Internet Explorer.

I normally have several tabs loaded with the daily news, and find it

I have an older program (AdSubtract) I've used for years to manage cookies in IE
and Mozilla browsers including Firefox.  But FF 3 screwed the pooch by changing
the cookies folder to sqlite format since AdSubtract is looking for a folder
named cookies.txt.

Have been using Thunderbird like forever. Just today, attempted to send
an email and message came back....unable to connect to SMTP server.
Went to the Comcast mail program, it connected and send just fine. Far
as I know, I havn't changed or added anything lately.

Is it possible to search for a message in *all* the email accounts in
one go (TBird 2)?  Afaik see I have to search one email account, then
select the next and search that  etc. etc

Although I don't think there has been a recent update (I am still on
v3.0.1) all of a sudden today I can't get any maps or directions from
maps.google. com.  Same site works fine, still in IE7  I can fill in
start and end addresses and tell it to get directions, but the next
