Mozilla question31 Jul 2008 19:54 GMT2
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this.
I'm using Firefox in a Ubuntu distro.  I have added the sql database add-
on, where I keep important information.
I need to transfer all my settings from one computer to another.  Does
Firefox 2.0.0.16 and "multiresource client"31 Jul 2008 17:21 GMT2
A query.  I use a private library and, via its website, I have access to a
range of internet sources to which they subscribe.  To use these services
they supply some software called "multiresource client".  It worked fine
till I upgraded to F'fox 2.0.0.16 - won't work at all now.
Firefox disk activity29 Jul 2008 22:22 GMT11
Gave Firefox a try yesterday.  The most annoying thing was the long
accesses to the hard drive that were going on all the time in the
background.  When I exit Firefox, it stops.  What up with that ?
I can see why some people's hard drives fail if they use programs
Firefox 3.0 and Hotmail/live mail29 Jul 2008 05:20 GMT3
so I downloaded Firefox 3.0, and now hotmail/live mail only works in the
crippled classic version. The advanced version won't load.
I've already tried cleaning my cache and cookies, but to no avail, I
keep getting an error during login, and only classic version.
already running29 Jul 2008 03:14 GMT2
When I open FF3, I get a message saying firefox is already running and that
I have to close the existing window. I have looked at the Mozilla help for
this and it tells me to delete the lock file. When I try that it, it says
the file is unreadable or corrupted. I've checked the ...
Firefox Errors28 Jul 2008 16:37 GMT5
I have been having trouble with FF3 on my laptop, no problem on the
desktop.  My laptop is running Vista Home Premium and the desktop is
running w2k Pro.  I have been having trouble sending passwords on

IMDb and Fx 3.01 issue25 Jul 2008 21:21 GMT2
Does everybody using Fx have problems with IMDb (I think any of the
servers), or is it just me? (Tried safe-mode already, same thing.)
It looks as if they've deleted the CSS, and all I get is standard HTML.
Looks ugly as hell. Noteworthy is that IMDb isn't exactly known for
Firefox Cookie Question25 Jul 2008 20:37 GMT3
I do not want to keep a bunch of cookies, cluttering up my HD.  I do,
however, want to keep critical cookies.  I have one in particular I want
saved from a specific web site and have the site in my exceptions to accept
them, but it deletes them when I shut down.  Is there a way to ...

FF and Java applets hang?24 Jul 2008 16:02 GMT1
In Firefox, (both versions 2.x and 3.x) I often print shipping labels
(from PayPal). The International labels use a Java applet to do the
printing and this applet hangs with Firefox. The only way out is to
just kill FF from taskmanager.
Send File24 Jul 2008 03:14 GMT7
For some reason, my Mozilla Thunderbird is sending to my "Send"
subdirectory, emails that are NOT what I send out.  The receiver gets
the right email and if I send myself a copy of the same email I get the
right email, but when I look in my "Send" subdirectory, the same email
