My boss told me to investigate about Flash, and how much it costs but I can't
find any info about good old Flash MX 6.0 (only about Flash 8) - how much does
Flash MX 6.0 cost and from where can we purchase it? Please be kind and post a

I have a comboBox component which, when I publish as projector and set it to
full screen, ends up opening DOWN, and being partially cut off. How can I force
the component to always open UP? There has to be a way to do this, right?

Hi everyone.  Is there a way to make part of an image transparent using Flash?  
For example, I have a bitmap image that I want to make the left side fade into
transparency so it'll blend with the background underneath it.  Any suggestions
would be appreciated.  Thank you.

If you have a swf that is data drived based on an xml file, How do you prevent
someone from copying your swf and xml and re-using the code somewhere else? Is
there a better way to validate in the file using something other then
javascript?

weird problem with flash pro 8 - when I test project or test movie, changes to
my .as files are not reflected. Doesn't matter whether I delete ASO files. To
get the changes show, I have to either run it in debug mode (after which the
changes show up when I run normally) or close ...

Well, I'm a Flash novice and just built my first full animation.  It is fairly
jerky, and I assume that increasing the frame rate would help that.  Is there
