Everything goes according to plan and works properly when viewed with

assuming it has something to do with the actions panel but im not certain how

Is there a way to send data from a browser to the swf using html tags and/or parameters? Or without having to use ActiveX methods?

Ok, I'm totally stuck here... I need to know how to do decent animated sparks
in flash 8. I'm ok with actionscript and movie clips... I just need to know a
good method of achieving animated sparks. Does anyone have a tutorial or method
on how to do this?

I've done Windows VB, C++, VBA type stuff, all desktop applications, and I
would like to put a database application on the web.  I want to use flash to
set up a bunch of forms with parameters and let some rather hardcore
mathematical calculations run based on settings from the forms ...

Does anyone know why this SWF will not display correctly in Firefox (See
another browser to see what I mean -- there should be photos loading in the top
space)?  (I have the version 7 of the player installed, and it works on other
browsers fine!)

I'm sure this is real simple to do but Just never done it before and can't find

What I have is 5 movie clips...all pretty much teh same but slightly
different. What I'd like to do is place only one on the stage at any one time.

Is there a way to see if a browser recognizes SetVariable, and if so, do one
thing, and if not, do another? This seems a lot easier solution than checking

Hello all.  
I know there are other posts on this forum regarding this topic, none have
been to helpful as of yet.  So, I've starting my own thread.
I cannot seem to get my MC to be draggable.  I have created the movie clip,

I would like to edit the text "PAUSED" and "STREAMING" in the MediaPlayback
component of Flash. I would like to change the language to French. Has anyone
done this? Or know how to do it?
I have edited the Configuration/ComponentsFLA/MediaComponents.fla file but
