XML28 Feb 2005 23:56 GMT2
I am using a borrowed script for a xml gallery. I seem to have everything down
but I cannot figure out how to position and size the xml movie clip...I've
tried to specify x and y in the html to no avail. Do I need to do this in the
action script? If so what are the tags?

voice-over narration.  SWF version of file runs fine, but projector file

1.Import a high-resolution bitmap circle into the stage, no matter the
resolution of it. It can be of any shape as long as it has rounded borders and
its not a vector.
2.Convert it into a symbol

Somewhat new to the Flash game and I have a question.  Basiclaly we want to

flash experience, and possibly very limited computer/e-mail experience.  I need
to be able to attach the file and send it, ...

Flash 2005 anytime soon???28 Feb 2005 19:16 GMT1
I know that I am going to get beat up by saying this but I don't care.
I recently made the jump to 2004 pro thinking that I was going to be able to
make good use of some of the new features. I was soon snakebit. I know that
there are some great improvements in MX 2004, but I am ...

How'd I set global properties of movies?28 Feb 2005 19:11 GMT1
Does anyone know the following two things that I'm trying to do on a flash
movie?
1. I need to set the movie so that when I open it in the Flash player, it will
be seen as "100%", not "show all" in the view setting.
Preloader Animation??28 Feb 2005 18:24 GMT1
This may seem like a really stupid question to ask, but how do you just have a
simple animation as a preloader (and maybe even a nice pixel preloader...)?
Also, another easy to solve question, how do you get your preloader to
disappear after the swf has loaded?
Rule of Thumb on using Preloaders??28 Feb 2005 17:07 GMT4
In order to know when to use a preloader, do you "automatically" create one
when your file gets to a certain size in case your viewer has a slow
connection?  Or do you test the file for slow loading on a slow dial-up
connection and then add a preloader if it loads slowly?

Can I create a custom Common Library?28 Feb 2005 16:59 GMT1
I'm wondering. I know we can save a file as a template, and create custom
categories for said templates which is really handy. But there are numerous
times where I have graphics I'll continually use throughout a project and I'd
like to be able to pull it directly onto my canvas ...
