I was having trouble with my internet connection where IE said my DSL was disconnected, but I still had my voip phone still running. ATT said the problem was with IE as I was having a lot of white screens. Is this a problem with IE or my DSL?
What I should really say is..... I always thought that hitting the red cross stopped the page from downloading, i.e. if there were hundreds of graphics, it would interrupt it immediately, and you'd get an incomplete page, but at
On the system in question (win-98se, fully patched/updated) IE was well behaved. I was away for a few days and a relative stayed at my house and was using the computer. At some point IE got screwed up. So right now when IE is launched, no IE window is created or started.
