Seems everyday IE6 shuts down ("encounters a problem") due to a conflict
with Adobe Flash Player (9). I'm Usually running a realtime ballgame such as
MLB.com. Of course, sending the report to Microsoft doesn't seem to do any
good. All my software is updated, though I do still use ...

When I use the search feature in IE 6, I am most of the time re directed to
some other search page, and it is not the page I opened from my search.
The correct page will be there for a second or 2, but then I am re directed
to a different search.

I just installed Norton Internet Security 2007.  Since doing that whenever I
close out I.E.  I get this message...... Instruction at 0x749860b0
referenced at 0x00000000.  The memory could not be "read".  Click on "OK" to
terminate program.   Can anyone tell me what this is about ...

After a search with Google/Yahoo we select a webpage from the resultlist
(can be any kind).  We see that a valid link is selected but somehow it is
overwritten immediatly with a link to dirty websites...
When we enter the url into the addressbar, the page is loaded correctly.

I was just reading, on the IE7 download page, that it only worked with Win2003 and WinXP.   Is that really true...if
anyone is using it with Windows 2000, please let me know.  It makes no sense that it wouldn't work.

Is it possible to put custom buttons for a particular website on the
toolbar? If I want to go to a particular site I'd like to be able to do it
with one click rather than fossick through Favourites.

I've seen this posted on other forums but I haven't seen many answers
that fit so I'll give a fair amount of detail.
After awhile, both browsers on my system stop working.
-All other internet apps, Skype, MSN Messenger, continue to work.

All the sudden I started getting messages like this:
     If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from
automatically redirecting to a new URL.
when I visit certain sites.  I can't find what browser setting to allow

When I am on a web page and attempt to close one of the pop-up windows or
one of the tabbed windows, it causes IE to close down completely, why? Any
suggestions what I need to look for to stop it from closing down everything?

I would like to share internet explorer favorites accross our small
network.  I found a post that said I can use tweak ui to change the
location of favorites, but I would also like to have a personal set of
favorites too.  Is this possible?
