I couldn't find an IE7 group, so thought I'd start here. Please excuse
and advise if there's an IE7 group somewhere...
RUNNING XP SP2
I have a "Links" table that can be called from either the "Favorites"

Am I missing something?  I see newsgroups for virtually any version of IE
but can't find an IE7 specific group.  Does it exist?

I installed IE7.  It keeps going to some Microsoft website by default and
then to runonce.msn something or another.
I set the start page to about:blank but it did not change anything.   Also

Before upgrading to IE 7, I was able to change IE link shortcut icons on my
desktop using the normal Properties-Change Icon-Browse method. As soon as I
installed IE 7, all the IE links on my desktop changed back to the generic
"e" icon, and I have been unable to change them back ...

I have IE7 with all the updates but although I have links ticked for the
toolbar no links bar appears.
Is this a fault or have I missed some subtle MS operation if so does anybody
in this NG know how to get the links toolbar to show itself?

I am running IE7 on Windows XP on 2 machines, one PC is fine but the other
refuses to display any web pages with an address beginning https://, the
progress bar at the bottom of the screen move slowly and after 10 minutes or

Hi all, I am trying to open an Excel 2000 document in IE7. The Excel
file has macros... some users of this Excel file have said that it
does not work when opened from IE7... Can anyone confirm whether this

I am at my wits end with this one so any and all constructive
suggestions are appreciated.

Does any one know if there is a keyboard shortcut in IE7 that allows you to
move between tabs quickly without having to click on the one you want.
I have to enter information from one web page into another page containing a
form and it gets really annoying to keep clicking back ...

What are those little graphics that show up on the far left side of the url
bar called?
I have tried searching the Knowledge base at MS support, but if you don't
know the name of something it is hard to search the KB.

double click the icon, it comes up with my blank page home page. I go to a
favorite and nothing happens and now it's stuck. Any insights?? Thanks. Ken
