In my rush to get IE7 to look like IE6 I deleted the IE7 icon how can I get that icon back? Also how can I get my email links to open up with the IE6 look?

anyone know if its possible to disable the http: prefix on ie7
I need to configure a router and need to get to 192.168.2.1 but it comes up
http:192.168.2.1 and not letting me onto the site.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try creating a shortcut to the vn. 7 iexplore.exe.  This seems to launch IE7
with IE6 look and feel.  You lose things like tabs, though.  I have the

OK.  I've used IE7 for two evenings now and it seems acceptable.  Should I

Earlier today I downloaded Win Updates, one of which was IE7.  I wanted to
see if I would like it---I don't!!  What is the easiest way to uninstall IE7

I foolishly installed the Beta version and when the update came thru it has
screwed my system.  I try to uninstall Beta 7 but it looks for a file which
isn`t on my pc and I have to cancel the uninstall.

IE7 is promoted as allowing for more screen viewing area.  Simply HOGWASH...
It's the opposite.  You are stuck with 3 or four rows; two that are fixed
and you can't do anything to resize, ie., the NEEEEVER ENDING address bar
and the new bar which I found no use for.

Eversince I downloaded IE7 I get redirected to other web sites when I do a
yahoo or google search. I have to return 2 or 3 times before it directs me
to where I originally wanted to go. I got a pop up window that states that
