Is there anyway to remove the search box from IE 7? I would like to extend the address bar the full length of the screen as I had it in IE6. I frequently start typing a website and the auto-complete box underneath would list out various web pages on the website, and I could just ...

I would like to know how to change the settings in internet options under the program tab. I have dreamweaver that I would like to add to the option drop down list to pick from. Now I only have notepad and excel to chose from. Please help me.

Unless I'm mistaken, from IE7 Beta 2 Preview to IE7 Final, there has been a change to the way the browser opens after using the "Open these [tabs] the next time I use Internet Explorer" option on shut-down. With IE7 Final:

I have a problem with Internet Explorer 6, suddenly I can't connect to any sites anymore. My network connections works fine, both e-mail and other browsers such as Opera and Mozilla. I've tried all the fixes presented at this page:

When I go to the download site for IE7, Avast! AntiVirus program reports that "A virus is found". Anybody else get this? Had a quick scan of the previous posts and cannot see any reference to it. Joe

ok - I give up -way too many problems with this - when I open a new window - the top part of the window is unaccessible - the only way I can close the window (since nothing is available to me) is to go to task manager and hit end task ... how do I safely get rid of this version ...

I keep multiple tabs open and want the same tabs to open when IE7 is first started. Each time I close IE7, I have to check the box that asks me if I want to open these tabs the next time I open IE7. Is there any way to have this permanently checked?
