On our website we are using a number of IE filters to display some PNG's with transparency, to do some gradients or other simple effects like that. progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader and progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient are the main filters we have used.

I don't want Internet Explorer 6.0 to automatically load when I log on. Could someone please tell me where to make the settings changes that will stop Internet Explorer 6.0 from loading when I log on!? Please post to the group or email. Thanks.

I'm having a problem with IE 6 where if I enter a web address as www.anysite.com the site will not load but if I enter http://www.anysite.com it loads immediately. Is there a setting that controls whether or not you need the http:// preceeding the address?

Is there a way I can override the webmaster's choice for link visited color? Some sites choose the same color for visited as for unvisited. I would like all visited links to display a different color regardless of the webmasters code. Can I do this somehow?

My IE6 decided that I was blind, and enlarged the view of pages while surfing the web. I've had to increase the resolution in order to give a semi-proper formating for the pages, but there are still problems. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
