Every time i download something in IE6, it defaults to the temporary folder, this i have no problem with, however when the download completes windows tries to open it and there is no trace of the file anywhere. it says

I receive data in a html page (from XML/XSLT) with html tags inside the data like : "Hello <b>everybody</b>". So, receiving such data I would like to display the text "everybody" in bold in the case of the example "Hello <b>everybody</b"

I want to submit a form using something like the location.replace(URL) function so the form isn't put in the history list and won't reload when the client hits the "back" button. If I put location.replace(URL) in the onSubmit function, of course, it doesn't submit the form data.

my problem: when double clicking on a link on the desktop I get a "save as" dialog. Earlier I had the problem that no links were opened when clicking on them (I tried to fix it by selecting the appl. to be opened for several file types - htm html and url)

I have IE6, and use BT Yahoo Broadband. I had to re-install my BT Yahoo software due to a problem, and since then the BT Yahoo Browser has become the default browser. I can't find any way of changing this either in IE or the Yahoo Browser.

I can't view TIFF files. Explorer just hangs. I use ACDSee most of the time, so I checked the file associations in ACDSee and it thinks it is supposed to open TIFF files. How do I check this in Explorer? Thanks!
