I'm using WinXP Pro on a laptop.  Each time I go to my  bank's internet
banking website, the IE6 browser crashes.  I thought I might be able to fix
this issue by performing the upgrade to XP from SP1 to SP2.  The browser
still crashes.  Is there a way to selectively diagnose and fix ...

I am having a difficult time getting ahold of a copy of IE 5.01 or 5.5 for

Hi,I have a problem with xp pro & internet explorer.

When i click on the IE icon, i get the hour glass for a sec but it goes away
and the browser does not open, i've uninstalled it and reinstalled it but
stll the same thing.  Any ideas.

I can get simple scripts to work so long as I start with the tag <script>.
If I start with <script language="JavaScript">, nothing works.
I think the first way works for simple commands because it is using MSScript
and the commands are the same, but more complicated javascript ...

ie wont start after sp2 just says fatal error :( whattodo?!?! can i uninstall sp2?!

Why are you still using IE? The thing is broken and MS doesn't bother
to fix it.
What's broken?  The text size.  You can't change text size on many
pages out there.  For example, IE uses a set font size on this page:

In IE, when I view the source of a local  HTML-page, by clicking the toolbar
button...all is well.

I have a number of site listed in my IE6 restricted sites area and I can't
delete them.  Every time I try, they are still there the next time I oper
the Security box and look at the restricted sites.

When i click on a link in Internet Explorer a page pops up but nothing ever
loads in it i cant go anywhere other than the original window that i start
in, if i copy the link and paste it in the address bar of the original page
it go's to the url ok, but if i click on open link in ...
