Since yesterday XP security update. All websites I subscribe to that have
login with password upon entry just kick back to same login screen with no
log in occurring. Emptied cookies, temp folder. Nothing works.
Any ideas?

I have Yahoo set as my home page.  Periodically the home page is switched
without my knowing it to something calle "Cool Web search."  I switch the
homepage back to Yahoo and it holds for a day or so and then I'm switched
again.  How is this happening and how do I stop it?

How can I tell what version of Internet Explorer I am running?

My Icon on my toolbar in IE for Email doesnt work.  I checked in
Tools/Internet Options/Programs.  For "Email" there are no options in the
drop down menu.  How do I get this menu to recognize Outlook Express?

I've just started getting the strangest popup.  I have the Google
search bar with popups blocked.  I'll have an IE window on the
screen, but it's not even the active window and I suddenly get this
box:

I have the following table pulling data from an xml file. I can't change the
xml file as it means changing the program that created it (big project),
however I can change the web page.

I'd like the IE window to open in full screen mode every time.  It is now
opening in a slightly smaller size.  How can I change it to open full screen
every time and save that change?

I am working on a project for a course I am taking for Website Development.
The project calls for me to research the various browsers available and also
to compare the previous versions of each browser.  I have to come up with
the following information:

I am running Windows XP.
I keep getting a message saying "windows explorer has encountered a problem
and needs to close" whenever I do anything on my computer.
Is there a way to get this message to disappear?

I brought home a new computer and find that when I use internet explorer the
sites only fill up 3/4 of the width of the page. I've tried large fonts and
adjusting the dpi but nothing seems to work. It worked fine on my old
computer.

I am using IE Ver. 6.0
How can I arrange the favorites folder to display in alphabetical order, rather than in the order in which they were added to the favorite folder.

4 day old fancy Dell computer. Something has got into my IE - maybe from
Kazaa. It freezes when links are clicked. It just refuses to go to some
pages - I get that dialog to send an error report to MS then it closes, when
it is working I get these dialogs to download "uninstall.exe" ...
