  I cant figure this out at all. I'm trying to call a remoting service from
within a button onRelease function but it doesn't do what I'm expecting. The
service gets called and the result set is returned because I can see it in the
NetConnection debugger but the result handler ...

I am having difficulty getting my flash remoting application to work properly
in ASP.NET 2.0. The basics is working fine, just as in 1.1, but i get the
following error:
ISessionIDManager.InitializeRequest has not been called for this request yet.

I have an existing HTML/ColdFusion web site. I?m in the process of re-creating
the site in Flash CS3 ActionScript 2 (look at my work in progress:
http://totalscript.com/newsite/ts.html).  
My existing/legacy HTML/CFM site has ColdFusion pages that retrieves and

I know we can all use the mx components and that flash remoting works with AS3
and uses AMF3 format... but... why on earth would we want to rebuild the whole
recordset funtionality that was built into the components of prior?  
somebody please tell me i'm wrong in that there is ...
