Dear Reader,
I am having difficulty researching how Flash loads a swf dynamically from a
Client's machine. I see I can use PHP, but I want to avoid that if possible. Is
there a way I can reference the Client's machine via an IP address?

I'm trying to convert my Flash Mx 2004 program to Flash 8 Professional.  I use  the onStatus function  in my program to handle server connection problems.
It works fine in Flash Mx 2004 but not in flash 8. Any ideas about this?
