Hi, I'm using Simple Objects in Java to process some info, but when an error is
raised I want to display the error message in my flash interface, I'm using
something like this...

Does anybody know how to handle a connection error in Flash Remoting (NOT
service error but gateway ) ?

I found the new Remoting components installer posted today (9/20/2005). I ran
the install package several times, each time I got an error when trying to test
an existing Flash Remoting project in Flash 8. Here is the latest:

Has anyone had this problem?
I developed a completed flash remoting project.  The flash SWF connection to
the Database works, on the a test server located inside a firewall.  
But, the Flash SWF connection to the Database does not work on the production

The Flash 8 documentation says the WebServiceConnector.timeout property does not work.  Has anyone found a work around or know if the bug has been fixed?

I have been doing remoting for a bit on flash mx (not 04)with ColdFusion and
am attempting to move into 8 now that it has been out for a while but i (as
well as many other apparently) cant seem to find any decent instructiosn on how
