How can I keep text from being squeezed or expanded whenever I change the dimensions of a text box?

Trying out 2004 to see if I need to upgrade from MX and can't seem to find
out how to load text dynamically into a scroll PANE component.  The help
file is for a scrollbar component which works when published in flash 6 but
not 7.

Hello.  I have created my new site using Flash MX.  It has 6
