I'm just wondering anyone can get me the answer for web service?
I'm writing custom actionscript and i want to use web service classes or web
service connector but it's show me the error that
"it's couldn't load".. so, i'm wondering whether i can use web service classes

I am having a lot of trouble getting Flash to display danish characters.
I am writing data to Flash from a mySQL database using PHP.

How can I show in a text area ONLY selected results (I get from the xml-file
generated by a PHP-document). like in PHP/mySQL you would write $query =
"SELECT * FROM paintings WHERE id = '5' "; or do I have to write for every
flash-page a new PHP-document? tnx for helping me!

ok . i have managed to get data from a xml-file. this file is generated by a
php file. So on every load I have to get this php file to generated the newest
xml-document. How can i load the PHP-file into my flash-site?

There is a great example for a guest book in the Flash Mx 2004. This guest book
example integrates with PHP and uses XML but nowhere is the php file included
and I really need to see the code to figure out how to do this myself. Does
anybody know where to get the code example? ...

i have a loadvars variable called my_lv.add that has to be named 'add' to work
with the paypal system. flash is reading it as a reserved word and not allowing
me to use it as a variable field name. how can i get around this?:confused;

We have web based application in ASP.net & IBM DB2 database. I just wanted to
know if we use flash for user interface (forms & other components), whether
flash is compatible with ASP.net & IBM DB2 database. This is very urgent

Does anyones know how you load an external CSS file into a movie clip that's 2
MCs deep from the _root timeline?
I've managed to do it on the _root timeline, but it doesn't work when i'm in
the movie clips's timeline...

Using Flash MX 2004 Pro. I am setting up a web service to pass data to Flash
from Perl. I am trying to figure out how (if it is possible) to define the WSDL
type definition to make Flash understand these.
Can anyone help me with this?

I am trying to intergrate a videofile (about 2 minutes) into a flash file
(fla.) but the problem is that if I'm going to export the fla. to a sfw. it
becomes to big. (It's for a website so it must be 5 or 6 MB at maximum.)

I'm trying to use XMLConnection with a PocketPC PDA. The XML app works on Internet Explorer on a desktop PC, but fails to work on my PDA.
Is this a Flash Lite thing or what?
