Something I stumbled upon with the new Firefox 3. Love the new browser, but noticed that if your have a white-space: pre element within a fieldset it causes the containing fieldset to expand like a table cell regardless of the overflow setting.

I have an application which has to be rendered correctly in Firefox and Internet Explorer. In order to distinguish css rules for these browsers I use following approach: *width:16px; //works for IE only, not work in Firefox.

Is there a tool to identify used / unused styles in a stylesheet? I have a tendency to accumulate styles in a stylesheet. Many of these styles are not actually employed by the page, so many of the defined styles are redundant.

I am building a website for a school, but running into a display problem between IE and CSS. (The site is http://stmary-stthomas.org/ ) The main horizontal menu bar looks just fine on Mac and PC with most browsers.
