Something I stumbled upon with the new Firefox 3. Love the new browser,
but noticed that if your have a white-space: pre element within a
fieldset it causes the containing fieldset to expand like a table cell
regardless of the overflow setting.

I have an application which has to be rendered correctly in Firefox
and Internet Explorer. In order to distinguish css rules for these
browsers I use following approach:

Is there a tool to identify used / unused styles in a stylesheet?
I have a tendency to accumulate styles in a stylesheet.  Many of these
styles are not actually employed by the page, so many of the defined
styles are redundant.

I am working on a site that is being served to a private network. All
the users are using IE6+.
I am having trouble getting the 1st div added to a containing div to
have its margin-left applied - right now it appears that it is getting

I just completed a new design for a personal web site.  After finishing
the basic CSS stuff and double-checking it in Safari, FF, Opera, et al.,
I put on my war paint and fired up IE7 to figure out what kind of hacks
I'd have to apply.  Delightfully, IE7 only needed four or five ...
