I don't think my logging is working correctly. I just sent an email using CFMAIL and it wasn't logged into mail.log. What could I have done to make this happen? and how can I get logging to work again?

We have a server running CF8 in Eval mode and I have obtained the 24 digit key from our software distributor in order to upgrade it to full Enterprise mode I have seen in the CF admin panel where to upload the license but I am unsure how to install it.

While investigating a problem with mail not getting handed off to our mail server by ColdFusion Enterprise 8.0.1, I discovered that the "Maintain connection to mail server" setting has the reverse effect of it's stated role, if the debug logging is accurate.

I need to create a new database connection for coldfusion mx 7 on winblows 2003 but coldfusion administrator is broken. Is there any way to create a new JDBC connection without it? Perhaps some registry or ini file editing? How about for ODBC?

My exception.log giving the error "There is an error accessing the log file. This could be caused by an incorrect log file name, or the log file does not exists anymore. Or your ODBC log file driver has a configuration problem." when I try to view it.

Okay, i've done plenty of CF7 to CF8 upgrades and I have never seen this issue. I run the autoplay,.exe and InstallAnywhere launches and I make it to the language select screen and click okay, About 3/4 of the way through the next status bar. I get a Fatal Application Error ...
