I installed the CFMX 8 Dev Edition, enabled the debug output, but the output is not displayed.  I can access the web pages, but can not see the debuh output.

We have been running CFMX 7 on Linux for a long time and the
/opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/servers/default/SERVER-INF/temp/wwwroot-tmp directory
on our server is gradually filling up with files named like 'neotmp9323.tmp',

Working with a client that has the webserver in the DMZ and is opening the
firewall to allow an ODBC connection on port 1433 from a specific IP address.

Has anybody seen scheduled jobs run twice? (CFMX 6.1 on window 2000)Here's the

We have just moved to CF8 Enterprise from CF7 MX standard.  In the standrad
administrator, we could set up 3rd party apps like a spellcheckers and email
verifiers in the Java and JVM page of the administrator and add the items to
the COLDFUSION CLASS PATH area.  ie. c ...

I'm running CF 8 on mac os x server (intel).  I'm looking for help with the
proper command for remote restart.
I access my remote machine via the terminal and ssh.
I type this: /Application/coldfusion8/bin/coldfusion stop

I can't reach some large log files through WS_FTP.  Perhaps I could get to them through CF Administrator?
Do I need to go through CF Administrator if I want to make those files smaller?

Our MX7 has been running for a while without problem.  I tried to access the CF
Administrator page and received an error message that Administrator Page can
not be displayed.  All other .htm pages and .cfm pages work fine.  I am

We're running CF8.  It works fine with all of our applications, exept for in
the action page where a bunch of validations occur as well as a file getting
uploaded onto a server.

Am I missing something?  The instances appear to perform much slower than the
default install when using Multisever configuration (cfusion).  The site works
(did the config with the web configuration tool to match up the cluster of
instances to a web site).  All of the isntances ...

Does anyone have an example of how to set up a CF8/JRun4 cluster for load
balancing?
I have three servers:
x004 - Linux - Apache2 (10.0.0.54,10.1.0.54)

I've read all of the information I can about installing CF on Vista but it
seems like all of the topics were looking to install on a Beta version of
Vista. Has anyone gotten this to work? Do you simply install it and it works?
If it doesn't work when will Adobe fix this. ...

Apple have just released new spec X-Serves, they come in a variety of config
options including: a single quad-core processor and a dual quad-core processor.
We are thinking that for running CF8 standard the single quad-core box will be
plenty powerful enough for most tasks.
