I need some help :).
I get this error after installing coldfusion 8 on redhat enterprise linux 4.
[i]Starting Macromedia JRun 4.0 (Build 108487), coldfusion server  coldfusion
could not be started because it is already running.[/i]

I am getting the following error showing in my cfserver.log file.
"The process has forked and you cannot use this CoreFoundation functionality
safely. You MUST exec()."

I host several dozen clients and upgraded to a dream server that was 64-bit.
Not even thinking that a software company would have products that you could
not configure for Windows Server 2004 64-bit. Seems there is one such dinosaur

I've just attempted to upgrade from CF 7 to CF 8. I've encountered the
following problem regardless of the type of CF 8 install I do. I'm installing
on a Windows 2003 server that has been successfully running CF 7 since it first
came out.

Hi, I'm running CF MX7 Standard and I have installed Verity and verified that
it is running as a service (same computer), however, when I go into the CF
Administrator, and click on Data & Services > Verity Collections, I get a
message that says:

I tried to add my serial number for CF8 Standard, to a downloaded trial
package, and it will not accept it.
When I try to install using the SN, it puts me in server mode.

I have seen a strange problem several times over the last year or so - the page
being shown on the site is suddenly not the correct version, but an old version

The system has existing PDF running well for a long time.  Suddently, the
system could not work properly, like the PDF page can not be opened.  I have to
reboot the Coldfusion service to recover the problem.  Does anyone know why it

Is it possible to run Cold Fusion in a native 64-bit mode on Windows Server
2003 R2 x64 Edition so that I don't have to downgrade my IIS to 32 bit mode? I
want to try out Exchange Server 2007 on the same machine, but this requires
that IIS be in 64-bit mode, not 32-bit mode.

We purchased ColdFusion 8 Standard Edition and are running one Website on IIS.

I got an application running on cf. Works fine, but on another server it
causes problems because it can't find a jar file which is     definitely in lib
directory

I have tried installing Cold fusion 8 Developer edition twice. On each
