I've just attempted to upgrade from CF 7 to CF 8. I've encountered the following problem regardless of the type of CF 8 install I do. I'm installing on a Windows 2003 server that has been successfully running CF 7 since it first came out.

The system has existing PDF running well for a long time. Suddently, the system could not work properly, like the PDF page can not be opened. I have to reboot the Coldfusion service to recover the problem. Does anyone know why it happens?

Is it possible to run Cold Fusion in a native 64-bit mode on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 Edition so that I don't have to downgrade my IIS to 32 bit mode? I want to try out Exchange Server 2007 on the same machine, but this requires that IIS be in 64-bit mode, not 32-bit mode.

I have tried installing Cold fusion 8 Developer edition twice. On each occasion it was successfully installed to the point that I could access the administrator page. I followed all default option while installing on my local Windows machine.
