Just wondering if anyone can give me advice on the proper installation of
cumulative hot fixes. Specifically, should each of the current cumulative fixes
be installed, or just the latest? (does the latest contain the fixes provided
by the previous ones, or are they in addition ...

The company I'm working with shipped me the Cold Fusion 8 CD yesterday.  I was
supposed to install it today.
 Well, it turns out that they had emailed me the SKU number, certificate ID,
P.O. number, Order Number, etc, etc...   Everything but the license key!!!!

I'm trying to upgrade one of our CF7 servers with cfh7020003.jar.
The current update level is:  /CFusionMX7/lib/updates/hf702-65114.jar  
On our other servers I've updated the current update level is set to:
/CFusionMX7/lib/updates/chf7020003.jar

In order to have minimal downtimes, I plan to install CF8 to an existing JRun
install that currently supports ColdFusion 7.  Are there any items to watch out
for?  I notice that wsconfig.jar on my existing JRun server is 108407 and that
108487 comes with CF8.

I'm running CF on an IIS server.
I've upgraded from CF7 to CF8 and everything is fine except flash forms.
The form shows but data never comes in. The clock (mouse) keep going round and
round.....

In ColdFusion MX 7 we had no issues using a hosted SMTP server for outgoing
mail.  In ColdFusion 8 it no longer works.  For example in ColdFusion MX 7
there was one field for the SMTP server which included the user and password
but now it is three different fields (i.e. server, ...

I recently changed the directory where all of my apps are stored on the server
from C:\inetpub\wwwroot to d:\inetpub\wwwroot.  after changing this in IIS and
restarting Coldfusion Mx6.1, everythinhg works except my Scheduled Tasks.

sites. Coldfusion is running with IIS. The first web site was alright until I

I am perplexed. This is not new... constant state
I have tried to log into cf admin and our application home page and am getting
a permission error. Not authorized to view... etc
We are running coldfusion mx in weblogic 8.1 (I think) in a windows

I'm back in business with CF.
I am preparing the ground for a cf project I'm developing and I started to put
the things going on the server side.
The installation of CF mx 6.1 went fine, I choose the IIS  as web server and
only 6 licenses for jdbc11 Sep 2007 19:44 GMT1
I hope someone is able to shed some light on this.
I am using MX 7.0 standard and getting the error below. I never knew this is a
limitation and can't figure out how to buy additional licenses. Very disturbing
since I am in the eve of rolling out a new server/app.
