Scheduled task with application security27 Oct 2004 21:24 GMT1
I need to schedule a task to run periodically, but we are using includes and
global parameters that require the user to login through a web form and then
authenticate through CFLOGIN.  If I provide the path of the file, the scheduled
task won't be able to run because it can't log ...

I've heard that running CFMX6.1 on win 2003 is slow and unreliable. Is this
other peoples experience and has anyone managed to improve it. Also would
people recommend 2003 Standard or Web edition
Thanks
Keeping CF Server up to date...25 Oct 2004 12:52 GMT2
I am very new to CF developing, and even newer to CF Server Administration.
This has become one of the "other duties as assigned...".  Fortunately I am
very interested in CF, so I look at this as a great learning opportunity.  I am
wondering how I determine what CF Hot Fixes ...
Error Occurred While Processing Request info24 Oct 2004 15:32 GMT1
With the current CF MX program, the Web site viewer gets to see a completely
unintelligible, to them, screen full of highly useful, to the Webmaster,
information. The Webmaster, on the other hand, gets a "Readers Digest" version
of the problem in the Application Log and never ...

Close_Wait on Port 5101020 Oct 2004 13:36 GMT2
Someone noticed that all of our CF servers appear to have a connection on port
51010 in the close_wait state when there is no activity occurring on the server.
Is this a problem? Some feel that this means the connection is hung and
possibly consuming resources? I think this is ...
Moving site from C: to D:19 Oct 2004 19:08 GMT1
Due to drivespace constraints, I need to move my website to drive d: from drive
c:.  I have copied all of the content but I'm not sure what else I need to do.
Is it as simple as changing the mappings or do I have to reinstall CFMX?  The
only mappings I have now are the Logical ...

Application Logging, MX 6.1 and SQL Errors19 Oct 2004 17:14 GMT2
We currently have MX 6.1 and SQL Server 2000 running on our development box.
It appears that SQL errors and messages are not being logged in the
Application log file.  I don't see any settings in the Logging Settings area
that would prevent this from occuring.  I have seen other ...

CPU 100% Solution: YES OR NO?19 Oct 2004 13:39 GMT2
We are having a problem many seem to be having where even after the updater
and all hot fixes are applied, our Win 2003 server will still run at 100%.
Has a solution been found yet?

neo-runtime.xml corruption18 Oct 2004 17:39 GMT2
Our production intranet server had a very confusing issue. For some unknown
reason the CFMX server stopped serving CF content. IIS would display plain ol'
HTML pages, but any CF page would only display as a blank page. No errors were
thrown to the browser whatsoever.
Multiple Task Executions from One Scheduled Task18 Oct 2004 15:34 GMT1
We have a few scheduled tasks setup that run once daily early in the morning
(All tasks run at different times).  We have noticed that recently, each task
appears to be running multiple times each morning at the same time or one after
another.  Obviously, this is causing some ...
