i have a trouble now, while i was using the coldfusion server,, after the sever was initialized,i could visit the normal pagers, but i could`nt access the administrator pager.<!----the environment is IIS and coldfusion MX 6 developer edition --->

:confused; I created a javascript window to alert user if they entered the wrong password, it works, but every time it popped up, my web page goes blank behind it, not until the alert window ok button is click.

when I want to take average value of database, it returns me as integer value by rounding result. But, I want to get real number with decimal points. Could you tell me what iswrong with my AVG function. thanks

I've tried to put my javascript at the top of my cfc, embedded within the function (in the CFC) itself, and on the calling page. None seem to work. Are CFCs able to use Javascript, and if so, how do you structure your code so the CFC can see the function(s)?

I'm trying to set up a deveopment site, and not having a lot of luck. I have downloaded cf701, but I'm having a problem with the install. Actually, the installer doesn't seem to work. If someone could help me get started, I would appreciate the effort.

Im only new working with coldfusion, but i need to update my licence which only allows 2 users to log on to the server. I have a new licence key for multiple users, does anybody know how i update my licence to allow this.

I have found different information on the Macromedia website regarding CF and Max OS X. The system requirements page says only the Developer and Enterprise versions are available, while the System Support Matrix suggests that the Standard edition is also available.
