I downloaded a flash login setup and have been trying to revise it to my
specific needs.
I have the login function working in that when they enter a valid username and
password, they are directed to the correct frame in flash.

i'm really confused about the BlazeDS release
is this remoting service aimed for Java Developers only
or can you invoke CFC's functions, just as easily as you could with previous
versions of flash remoting ?

Is there a way to pass FlashVars values from a .swf file to a ColdFusion page ?
I've got a page with a calendar, I select a date and post it to itself.
I then pass it into the .swf using FlashVars.

My apologies in advance for a long post.
I have a Flex application that talks to either a SQL Server or Oracle database
through ColdFusion.  One screen has a datagrid which is bound to a query
returned by a function contained in a cfc.  A number of the columns are

I am not getting the display of <cfform format="flash" in a new installation of
ColdFusion 8 on Windows 2003 server.  Is there some setting, extra software or
mime setting that has to be made to view the apparent .cfswf output?
