| IE 6 fails to start (wants to send error report) | 29 Jun 2008 20:09 GMT | 3 |
On the system in question (win-98se, fully patched/updated) IE was well behaved. I was away for a few days and a relative stayed at my house and was using the computer. At some point IE got screwed up. So right now when IE is launched, no IE window is created or started.

| IE7, MSN.COM, page stack problem | 29 Jun 2008 18:15 GMT | - |
It seems that in IE7 if you have msn.com as the 'home' page, click on a link that is also in msn.com and come back that IE7 is losing track of the home page and adds msn.com to the stack on return from the link used. i.e. home page - msn.com, click on link that is in msn.com as

While rummaging through my HD I noticed that there was an EXE file I did not recognise in my C:\ root directory. The file was "p7vib1.exe". I deleted it. I ran RegEdit and saw that no new applications were added to the registry. In C:\ I also had a file "1.txt" which contained the ...

| Weird IE problem - Tabs / refreshing ? | 19 Jun 2008 08:26 GMT | - |
I've got a strange, but hopefully not unknown, problem. In the meantime here's something similarly odd with some webby stuff. I have a page using css styles to show a tabulated list of labels/input fields (database form) in a fixed surround (heading, menu stuff).

| Is FF3 that bad? | 04 Jul 2008 13:29 GMT | 4 |
From reading the last month or two of postings on here it sure looks like FF3 is buggy and troublesome. I'm always the last person to upgrade, since I dont like having to relearn software as as well as knowing new versions are often buggy. I still have FF2.

| Memory leak in 2.0.0.15 | 04 Jul 2008 04:13 GMT | 1 |
I have never had the memory leak problem, and have been using this since it was Phoenix. I just upgraded to 2.0.0.15, and it reared it's ugly head. I left the browser open all day with about 5 tabs open, something I've often done with no problem. When I tried to browse again after ...

| Password Remembering | 04 Jul 2008 03:01 GMT | 2 |
Since I upgraded to FF3, there is a site that FF previously remembered the password and login name for, and now it doesn't. It was even in the "tools
> options > security" list. I deleted this info and I entered the info manually but FF didn't offer to remember it.

| Firefox 3 Slower Than the Pre-Release Versions | 03 Jul 2008 17:30 GMT | 17 |
This must sound weird, but since I loaded Firefox 3 final release, Firefox is slower opening pages. Often to get a link to open I have to click on the link again. I am at a loss since Firefox 2.14 did not have that problem, nor did the Release Candidate versions of Firefox

| Firefox 2.x to 3.0 font face Wingdings missing | 03 Jul 2008 14:33 GMT | 3 |
unfortunately I moved from FF2 to FF3: I need a quadratic box for multiple choice exams. Like IE, FF3 now lacks a useful font for that purpose. Interestingly, openofficeWriter is capable.

| How could I get "flipback" back? | 04 Jul 2008 13:39 GMT | 17 |
Hello, I am used to "hold right button, click left button (flipback)" to go back, but in Opera9.50, I can not use this function unless I enable mouse guesture. I never use mouse guesture, is there a way to get flipback work while mouse guesture is disabled?
