Hi,

Wow! I made it through a whole year of reading comp.lang.javascript!
I'm feeling a little sentimental.

Lasse and Randy where kind enough to answer my very first confused
question about $(). One of them was helpful the other was humorous:-)
Certainly an appropriate introduction to the group. (How is your back,
Randy?)

Richard Cornford gave me many many helpful responses especially when
he told me to pipe down until I know what I'm talking about

Thomas 'PointedEars' Lahn informed me he would never again respond to
one of my posts. I know I at least have "a minimal clue"" by now.

Thanks to all that have read my posts and to those that have
responded. Without comp.lang.javascript browser scripting would be a
nightmare.

I go the 16th of February to get another freaking shot to try to stop
some pain. It feels like those dang green goblins got out of the
computer and starting chewing/beating on me when I sleep :-) But,
happily, it only hurts now when I sleep or am awake...... (Thanks for
asking though).

Even with comp.lang.javascript it can still be a nightmare.

Sidenote: Is Google's new interface going back to the broken/wrapped
URL's again?

I hope the shot helps. I had only mild back pain after a car accident
for 8 months and that was no treat. Good luck!

Yes it seems to. A few days ago they switched the beta groups UI into
production. This was the first post where I experienced the problem.

Odd that they did not do QA first.

It is screwing up quoting as well (have you noticed how responses are
being run together with previous quotes?).
(Well, it is screwing it up more than the last version did.)

Richard.
