I have XP Professional with IE 6. After removing some dialers and other
similar annoying software from my machine, IE is not working any more. For
every URL I get the following message: "
Internet Explorer could not open the search page". After some digging, I
came up with conclusion, that registry has been corrupted, so if anybody
could suggest what to add/modify in registry, please feel free to reply.
I even tried reinstalling IE as described in Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article - 318378, but with no success.

thanks,

Tobia

I did try, but with no success at all.
I discovered something new... when I enter some URL (e.g.
http://www.google.com in windows explorer, everything works fine)
