IE6 on XP SP1 keeps hiding status bar -- have to select View->Status Bar

This is REALLY annoying! I want my Status Bar permanently showing, as
with all other versions of IE on all other O/Ses.

Anyone know why the status bar keeps hiding itself?

Open IE..go to view and make sure status bar has a check beside it.
