My welcome-page should be red, but not on my IE. I have IE6 and the latest
updates, believe me. And if I download IE6 again, it said: you have the
newest version.
See my welcome-page on home.planet.nl/~zadel  but I'm sure it is red. . . .
.
My question is: can I delete the whole IE and re-install it again , without
re-installing Windows Xp again.
regards
Wim

Your home page could not be reached here in the Detroit, Michigan, USA area
on SBC/Yahoo DSL.  Got an error page from MSN search that there was no such
page.  Got to planet.nl, but was unable to figure out how to get to your
page.  You can not uninstall IE from Windows, it is inextricably interwoven
into Windows.

Your web page loaded fine for me and yes, it has red background in my IE6.
If you can't 'see' the red, is it perhaps a problem with your video card?

Chris is absolutely correct, IE is joined with XP and they're inseparable
barring a fresh XP install.
To get further help you may want to try the XP help_and_support NG.

Good luck!

You can go to start...run and type in   sfc /scannow    and it will fix any
corrupt files.
