New window minimized

Hi running IE6 on win98se.
when I open an active link in IE I get a minimized window just 1 inch
of the header bar with the close/maximize/minimize icon.
How can I correct this so I get a larger window opening?

Hi

Start IE
Open new window with Control + N
Then using the mouse resize all 4 sides to maximum screen size.
Do not use the resize tab.
Then close the first window.
Now close the second window that you resized.
Restart IE and all should be fine.
