I am running Windows XP.
I keep getting a message saying "windows explorer has encountered a problem
and needs to close" whenever I do anything on my computer.
Is there a way to get this message to disappear?
It keeps popping up every time I open a program and then it shuts that
program down.

I was using incredI Mail Xe and since I downloaded this program I've had
nothing but problems so, tonight I finally deleted it through the ADD and
REMOVE program in control panel.
It took a long time to remove but finally I was able to un-install this
software.
I still get that message about windows explorer :(
Can someone help me to get rid of it please.

I appreciate any help I can get....Thanks!

Read my post. I'm having the same problems.
I too have Incredimail, but haven't removed it.
Are the problems you have similar to mine?
Looking forward to getting this issue resolved.

I'm not sure if we are experiencing the same problems, someone told me to do
a system restore back before the date that I downloaded incredimail, I'll
try that if I don't get any help here.
Someone also told me to download Adware & Spybot but I'm not sure how that
would help? Any ideas?
I have seen lots of comments about Incredimail. They said the Add and Remove
is not enough for it as it has masses of spyware attached.  You need
to use Spybot as well to eradicate it.
Still waiting to hear other ideas, anyone???? Please :)

Thanks

How did you do it?
I tried a system restore, and tried to create the restore point.
I don't think I did it right.
I'm still having the problem.
If you can share how you did this, I would greatly appreciate it !
Thanks

Goto Start Menu, all programs, accessories, system tools then system
restore.
It'll say Welcome to System Restore then...
To begin, select the task that you want to perform:
green dot should be in : Restore my computer to an earlier time
Then press "next"
The next page will say: Select a Restore Point.
Pick a date from the calendar, make sure you choose a date before you
started having problems.
You can even go back 3 months or more, it's just anything you've downloaded
in between these dates will not be there, problem solved as it was in my
case. (I went
back a month cause that's when I downloaded incredimail)
I did the restore twice, first time I didn't go back far enough so I had to
go back further.
Once you press ok after you choose a date, the computer will load, you just
wait and the computer will shut down by itself and reboot.
That's all there is to it.........Good Luck!!

P.S. You probably didn't go back far enough as in my case, try another date.
You can do this several times.
