I'd like the IE window to open in full screen mode every time. It is now
opening in a slightly smaller size. How can I change it to open full screen
every time and save that change?

Hi,
Start with your original first window and no others open.
Open a second window, which should be the reduced version.
Enlarge the second window by dragging the sides to enlarge.
By this I mean that you put the cursor over the border mark and it turns in
to
a double ended arrow and you left click and hold and drag to your preferred
size.
Close the first window.
Close the second window
Restart IE.
Win remembers the last setting
