In both IE 7 and 8, I have been unable to listen to music samples before I
purchase them for download.  I have not problem with this in Firefox.  In FF
the quicktime window comes up and plays the tune, where in IE, I get a blank
white page (with no QT) and the word "Done" in the bottom lefthand corner.

Does anyone know how I can fix this.
Thanks.

Does Windows Media Player work for you on websites where they stream
video and sound at you?  IOW, is it properly configured in IE?  IE
doesn't by default use QT unless it is to play a MOV, for all else it
"prefers" WMP, especially for files WMP handles natively, and if it
can't get to WMP, you can get stiffed.

Set it up so that Windows Media Player works on sites like CNN, etc. and
it should also work for MP3 samples.
