My IE7 window does not stay in place after I log out.

How can I make it stay in its previous screen position?

Thanks in advance for helpful replies.

What do you mean by 'stay in place'? If the window is stretched to full
screen it should open the same way you close it. Also is your desktop set to
auto arrange icons or anything? That may be the cause of your concerns.
Good luck.

I mean if I leave the IE7 window centered on the computer screen,
I want it to return to that position the next time I use it.

But it doesn't.

Position the screen where you want it.  Also size it if you want.  Maximize it.  Restore it.  The screen placement and size should always return.

Thanks for your message, but this does not work unless I don't understand
  what "restore" means.

I had this problem before and to do what I want I had to change a value
in the registry, but I can't remember what that was.
