I receive this error message twice before I can get to IE

Cannot find 'file:///C:/Program%20Files/AOL%20Toolbar/welcome.html'.
Make sure the path or Internet address is correct."

I have tried uninstalling AOL Toolbar to get rid of it, but that did
not work.
I put google as my home page for IE from control panel and internet
options, but I cannot get the google home page to open until after the
two error messages, and I have to hit the home page icon on IE.

Is there a way to remove this error message?
