All the sudden I started getting messages like this:

If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from
automatically redirecting to a new URL.

when I visit certain sites.  I can't find what browser setting to allow
redirect.  I am running IE7 and MS Vista

I have just discovered the same problem. Tried resetting all the
defauls - but I can't seem to find a way around it.

I firsst noticed this when I treid to access my Gmail account online
(rather than in Outlook) insfoar as it just puts up a blank screen.

After a small amount of digging, I found that viewing Googlemail in
"basic html" setting allowed me to log in to my gmail account and
display things (but also in "basic html")

Similarly, I strted to have the same problem when trying to log in to
my online banking (IF - Halifax) - I kept getting the error message
"Incorrrect Log in detail" - which I knew was BS as I was most
fastidious after the first failed attempt. At first I put it down to
needing to clear the browser cache, so I did that a few times - fully
- but to no avail.

I am also running iGoogle IE7 on another PC on my LAN, so I have been
able to check things that way but having reset all the browser
settings on my 'problem' PC to match those on my other one it still
made no difference. I have even tried reloading the Google IE7 - no
change.

Running iGoogle IE7, XP Pro, Avast Antivirus, normal XP firewall.

Help!

Mike
