I do not know where to start looking for a solution to my problem.
Every web page that "seems" to have an embedded movie/animation that
will needs Apple Quicktome "fails" to play.  Each and every one shows
up with the Quicktime ? place-holder icon and never plays.  I have
tried removing/re-installing Quicktime (latest version) and no
embedded movie/animation does not play.  However, every movie trailer
that I select from Apple's movie trailer web page play correctly.

How do I fix this problem?

I've experimented all week-end on this.  It seems that Quicktime, from
Apple, does not integrate well into Internet Explorer 7.  I was also
getting "can not read memory" errors while their Quicktime player was
installed .  I have since remove Apple's version and went with the
"Quicktime Alternative."  All is working now.
