IE7 WINDOW-SIZE PROBLEM HAS DEVELOPED

I couldn't find an IE7 group, so thought I'd start here. Please excuse
and advise if there's an IE7 group somewhere...

RUNNING XP SP2

I have a "Links" table that can be called from either the "Favorites"
file or from the pop-up "Links" window accessed from the bottom
toolbar.

One link is "Browser," which brings up IE7 in a full screen.

There are links to web sites I visit frequently.

SITUATION:
With the browser (IE7) closed, I click on a web-site link. The page
opens, but is about half-screen width. I can manually maximize the
image. Web shortcuts from the desktop result in the same 1/2-screen
width. It seems that ALL links/shortcuts from anywhere, that require
IE7 to open first, result in a 1/2-screen width in IE7. Once IE7 is
open, links come up full screen.

Shortcuts to files on local drives allow me to specify the "Run"
parameters, but the option does not appear for web links.

I have run AV (Norton), Adaware, and Spybot, but no fix yet.

I have maximized the window by dragging full size, exiting IE7, and
hoping it would remember. Nope.

Help?

TIA--Terry

I think this is default behavior now. It happens
even with IE6 though. But if you resize the new
window by dragging the borders, it will remember
it for that session of IE.

I don't see why you call this a problem though.
If you absolutely have to have it open maximized
then use regular shortcuts where you can set the window
to maximized, that you point to IE and URL with something
like this:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"
