IE7 :80 gets appended to urls

I keep having :80 appended to urls
e.g.
www.somedomaion.com/:80
Is this an issue with IE7 or is this just the vogue thing on the internet
now.

From what I have googled it seems most using IE7 are getting this.
It's just a quirk of IE7 and harmless anyway....
