I just installed IE7 and I can't find how to turn on a search pane.  Is this
feature gone?

I've always thought that having your search results on a separate pane
instead of the main window was brilliant, allowing you to call up pages
without loosing your results page or having to back up to get it back.  But
now it looks like I'm stuck with search results in the main window.

Am I missing something or have they really taken away what I considered to
be the best feature of IE?

It's really gone.  As I understand it, it was something of a security issue.

Frank,

Thanks for the info.  What a bummer.

Alt + Enter after typing in the search box will open results in a new
tab.
