HTML forms are not working with Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP Home
Edition SP2). For example on page
http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en only one language is shown
("English") so I can't change to Finnish.
I have tried adding google.com and http://www.google.com/ to trusted
sites, I have enabled everything I can for trusted sites in IE7 ->
"Internet Options" -> "Security" -> "Trusted sites" -> "Custom
level..." and I have tried refreshing (F5) and also "super refresh"
(Ctrl + F5).
Changing preferences for google.com using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 works
fine.

Try this link, then save preferences:
http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=fi

Looks like the problem is strangely somehow connected to extending my
Windows desktop to another monitor. When I am not using the "Extend my
Windows desktop onto this monitor" setting (in "Control Panel" ->
"Display" -> "Settings"), the problem is gone. But when I am using the
"Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" setting (as the second
monitor I have an LG Flatron 995FT, which is a 19" CRT monitor), the
problem arises so the problem might be connected to some video/monitor
settings in Windows XP SP2 or to some video/monitor software that came
with my computer. I have Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L7310GW laptop computer
with S3Tray Plus display software and VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP display
adapter.
