I posted this one in Windows 2000 newsgroup:

I have two OS-system: Windows ME, which works like clockwork, and Windows
2000 Pro. Internet Explorer-6 and the rest of the programs I have installed
in
my PC work just fine in ME. Yet, Internet Explorer just doesn't function
properly in W2K -- it is sluggish and when going up or down a page, it is
jerky, not smooth. I copied/installed msconfig to see which programs are
running and it only shows IE and the very few others that run normally on
starting of the PC. Unless something is running that I can't see via
msconfig, I just can't figure out what happened to IE. Other programs work
Ok in W2K.

Any ideas? Thanks
Roxy

Download Lavasoft Ad-aware 6 (free version).

I had horrible problems, turn out I had a ton of spyware installed.

I hate to think what information they had been sending out.

MS products really are virus traps, it's amazing.
