simple shortcuts

hey I've got shortcuts on my desktop that are shortcuts to urls that I
use all the time.. and they don't work

also I can't go start, run, www.google.com anymore; it's like MS broke
the most basic functionality in the world lol

Aaron,

Just one possibility, based on personal recent experience. Have you
just upgraded to IE7? I did, and before I rebooted my computer, I
experienced exactly the same symptoms.

My shortcuts still do not work and the browser is a pig.
